Healthy Lunch Box

Dear Parents,
At ABCCIS we encourage healthy eating so please make sure to send a healthy lunchbox to the school, we are strongly advise that your child has had some breakfast before coming to school in the morning .
We have a strict NO Sharing policy so we ask you kindly to discuss this point at home with your child, as some children have food allergies.
Please send a full water bottle with your child . 
Candy , Chocolate,  Crisps,  fizzy drinks , sweets are not allowed , will be kept by the class teacher and returned to you at the end of the day as we are encourage the kids to eat healthy food .
(As you know sweets and extra sugar or food  contain  Preservatives , flavors and colors products make the kids (hyperactive)and getting (disease) on the long run).

We provide some guide for the important  healthy  food for our kids:

Vegetables :
--------------------
Vegetables provide a rich source of vitamins, nutrients and minerals that are essential to kids health and development. The health benefits will significantly increase kids physical and mental abilities. For example, the benefits of vegetables can provide your child with more energy, the ability to concentrate and focus more clearly and for longer periods of time like( strips of cucumber, carrot, green peppers)

 Vitamins :

The vitamins and nutrients strengthen your kids immune system which will help them to fight off common colds, flu, illnesses and disease. This is very important as children are often very susceptible to illness, particularly at nursery and school where germs spread very quickly and are passed from one child to another , like apples, strawberry, blueberries, bananas.

Proteins: 
---------------
 meat, fish, chicken strips and beans have been the major sources of protein. 
Eggs: Considered one of the healthiest foods on the planet, whole eggs pack a powerful combination of protein, beneficial fats and calcium.
Dairy: Dairy products such as natural yogurt and milk , cheese strips are convenient, low-cost sources of protein and calcium.
Healthy starches: Carbohydrates  whole food starchy foods like potatoes, (cooked at home not Chips) it is healthy and nutritious.

Beverages:

 (Water) should make up the majority of your fluid intake, (fresh fruit juice)is healthy and delicious. 

NB: 
Popcorn is healthy snack
Cupcakes are healthy.(with dry fruits inside)
Pizza is healthy (low cheese inside)
