Health Department Policy:

Dear Parents,

At ABCCIS we encourage healthy eating so please make sure to send a healthy lunchbox to the nursery, we strongly advise that your child has had some breakfast before coming to school in the morning .
We have a strict NO Sharing policy so we ask you kindly to discuss this point at home with your child, as some children have food allergies.
Please send a full water bottle with your child . 
Candy , Chocolate,  Crisps,  fizzy drinks , sweets are not allowed , will be kept by the class teacher and returned to you at the end of the day as we encourage the kids to eat healthy food .

 Hand Washing:
A strict hand washing regime is implemented among kids, as well as use of hand sanitizers. These are
available around the school with easy access for students. Parents are requested to continuously reinforce these
practices at home.

Emergency Card:
 If your child is absent for medical reasons , please inform the school. Absence for more than (Three days) required a medical report from his/her doctor
Please  make sure to inform the school  If your home, cell, work and /or emergency numbers change during the school year, as we must  to be able to contact you in case of illness or injury to your child.

Head lice:
Please examine your child's hair on a regular basis (a couple times per month) if you find lice, please treat  your child and inform  me.
 all students will have weekly hygiene checkups (hair, nails, ears, general appearance, etc....)

Medications policy:
All medications to be taken during school hours must be left in the school clinic ,the medication must be in its original container , a parent or other responsible adult must bring the medication in the appropriate container and given to  me.

Child's illness-fever:
Any student with a temperature of 37.5 degrees will be sent home they may not return to school the next day, this is to ensure the safety of your child and the other children in their classroom..

Gastrointestinal illness:
If your child is suffering from vomiting or diarrhea please keep your child home 24 hours after symptoms have resolved

Annual screenings:
All students will have a yearly growth survey measurements including: Hight, weight, vision, hearing (if required)
Parents will be informed for any abnormalities.
